Thanks for the links!

I'm a casual DMB fan and didn't know of this site. I even found my first show from 2002!

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT.....BIG ROOKIE mistake with this taper; EVERY track has trailing crowd noise at the beginning of each track; WTF! you just created alot more work for me; why would you NOT start each track with the start of each song! or dave's intro speak to each song?!?! no need for each track to start with 30 seconds or more of crowd noise.

TRACKING - FAIL!
dmbgreystreet05 2009-08-08 18:30:32
NOT to mention the audio isnt balanced; i am post-editing it to even it out more.

Settle down, Chuck. Didn't realize you were being paid to do this. He tracks them on a standalone burner, so that's why they're not tracked to the millisecond, and I seed them as they're sent to me. I'd suggest not downloading any other Pasternak sources as they're sure to be a great source of aggravation for you.

A message from the taper:

That was one of the most offensive chats I have ever seen. Rookie?? I have been taping longer than this guy is alive. And I am doing the DMB community a favor by releasing my tapes to etree - - he is gonna blow it for other DMB fans cause I simply won't generously give my recordings to them anymore.

And the real reason for the little bits of pre-song room on each track is because I actually track them RIGHT AT THE SHOW on my D8 as I don't have a post-production facility. Sorry if that is too amateurish for you, dmbgreystreet05.

And I have been supplying choice recordings to the Dead, Phish, moe, DMB and internet community for 25 years. This guy is way off base and doesn't deserve to download ANY of my shows.
