| I know a stupid question, but converting to wav and then playing on an Ipod will work for 24bit recordings, right? |

| Mikemoss, I don't know that itunes will recognize 24 bit. In any case the filesize will choke your ipod. I would go with 16 bit, apple lossless. Max for os x will convert flac to apple lossless. |

| Filesize will not choke an ipod, it simply will not play 24 bit (will prob reboot itself) |

| My bad choice of words...I meant that the file sizes of 24 bit wav files would quickly fill the ipod's storage capacity. I use apple lossless on my 80GB with no problems. File sizes are close to flac file sizes. |
