personally I prefer at least 60% SBD in a matrix, at least.....AUD is just to add ambiance....don't need all the up close chatter....
mulezone 2009-08-16 02:02:51
...and you make this post without listening to it first.
southernkiwi 2009-08-16 02:41:46
Thank you
superfreakie 2009-08-16 05:00:21
To be quite honest, I like it to have about 62.5692% sbd that way then I can still hear the "yeah, we love you Jerry" but block out the "play Dark Star".................. ; )

Thanks a lot for this boys, love your work and am looking forward to blowing out the neighborhood tomorrow. This show always makes me feel like I am floating on a cloud of ( .) (. ) s
superfreakie 2009-08-16 05:11:11
oh I forgot to mention you spelled whine wrong. : )
Eric_A_DeadHead 2009-08-16 06:35:38
Steve (luv ya, man, hey, new old PC, faster, more, better... donated parts and labor, separately, from two different co-workers [Fry's], so I'll have to grudgingly admit that there ARE still SOME selfelss, caring, kind, and giving persons on Earth, along with Hunter Seamons and SteveSw... thanks, guys, one and all, now if I could only get me a woman, who's also a Dead freak, or at least tolerant... and could someone PLEEZ slip me some mescaline already?!?) OK. (?)

Hey, SteveSw, regarding "the club" at LL (funk them, some are jealous of your newfound "celebrity" and popularity, of that I AM SURE, others don't want their "precious sources" messed with, hey if you do something with it, that DOES NOT take anything away from what they have done. My success [um, or lack thereof... can I get some blues/rock/country/honky tonk/Jerry-related musicians here in Contra Costa Co. pleez?!? Sheesh, what do I have to do, where a breadboard naked in the streets? Well, I might do that for fun anyway, but... or butt... OK, totally WRONG at this point, back on track...]), should be (perhaps) Whine and *Cheez* Club, because some of them can indeed be a cheez-y lot. Cheese implies value, taste, and worth, cheez implies artificiality, low value, and things not to be trusted. Don't put them into the same company as my old friend Mr. Cheese. I LOVE cheese! Cheez, not so much... Right? OK...

Thanks for this. Kinda surprised by the amt. of AUD, but that's good that your mind's ear is calling the shots and not an unchanging formula... Innovation is good. So, I'm thinking the SBD might have been *very* dry or perhaps one of the players was not represented well by the SBD? Anyway, haven't read all yer notes, I'll go back and see. OK, computer!!! Wow... I remember what it's like to type and not get hungup every 10 saeconds or fall asleep waiting for my PC to process something. Cool.

THANK YOU STEVE SW, YOU SOURCE STEALING NO TALENT LOWLIFE! If you weren't, we'd all be sorely depraved, I mean deprived. Some of us are depraved anyway, but NOT deprived! It's depravity that holds us all down on the Earth. That's what my teacher used to say. Or did my teacher say, "da gravity"?!?! He had a sorta hairlip kinda funky something so I couldn't really understand. Oh, my bad. I kept thinking it was DEPRAVITY that performed that "USEFUL FUNCTION" of keeping us all on Earth and keeping us in orbit around the sun, but if he meant "da gravity". Uh oh. I've been a bad boy...

I'm a lying s.o.b., don't trust anything I say (I DON'T!!!), but at least I'm honest...

Well, this nonsense has gotta stop (but I'm sure it won't).

THANK YOU STEVE SW, THANK YOU JERRY!!!

(...and if you don't like what I've said, don't hate the message, hate the messenger, I can take it... I'd rather take it upfront and get my teeth knocked out rather than take it from behind and be out, period. Know what I mean? Start the fire, burn away the dross, refiner's fire is best for the lost. Gibberish? Perhaps, one thing is for sure... GRATEFUL DEAD MUSIC MAKES MY WORLD GO ROUND AND KEEPS ME GOING STRAIGHTFORWARD, with a few side trips here and there... If I sound like I'm sick, I AM, or I should say, I am. No offense, big guy... or should I say Big Guy? Wow... I wish I had the energy I have. I could go on raving forever... OK< mercy, I think I heard an "Uncle!" out there. I'll let you go. Peace, love and wave the snails...)

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A GRATEFUL DEAD MATRIX! [®©2009 Eric The Red (with the Buffalo Head) Productions]

Only sleep can stop me now......................................................

Eric, SteveSw had nothing to do with this matrix. You got the wrong guy. Insane crazy or crazy insane. LOL
balto7 2009-08-16 08:46:33
Grate show. I think this is the one where Jerry refuses banjo lessons to a stoned out chick during D/S. Funny shit. Thanks a lot.

i thank you kind sir
hansokolow 2009-08-17 03:39:02
Okay, a couple of you guys already flamed tiedyedmw snarkier and better than this, but just to reiterate, 55% sbd or 60%, it's all pretty much meaningless. Every source is laid down at a different level, depending on all kinds of issues, and there is no magic ratio that makes the perfect matrix. It's all up to the mixer's ears, period. And I'm sure a hell of a lot of time was spent making this, so the proper first response is, say it with me people, "Thank You!"

See how easy that is?
Driftin_n_Dreamin 2009-08-17 09:35:31
Hey Eric , I think it's time for you to be "committed" , cause you have totally lost all grip on reality ... :P
SteveSw 2009-08-17 17:01:13
It's hard to bring a non-linear mind to a linear world....

There are four MOTB sources for this night up on the LMA:
