My request would be Alpine Valley 1989.
The available soundboards are amazing in quality, all they need is some AUD to liven them up. These shows are so dead-on good, I mean a peak from the late Brent era.
I really would like to see Grateful Dead do a boxed set of these shows, along with DVD's too.
They would say that the Downhill From Here DVD is already released. Who cares! The video is great but it is a mix from all three shows.... I would much prefer a DVD boxed set that has all three shows in their entirety. |

Wow, when I posted the my audience master I wasn't even thinking anyone would matrix it. I'm kinda old school, early matrixes of 10 years ago often sounded weird to me, neither fish nor fowl, ya know? So I didn't really
collect or follow them. Of course the potential was there, I guess I shoulda
checked in sometimes.
Events in my life put me through some heavy changes, so let's just say I'm glad I was able to get this aud. to you now.
I have on my drive my 23rd master. That second set runs almost 2 hours
even with pauses between songs. That was the day of the BGP bluecoat sweep FOB. Most went down. I did survive. But, the resulting issues anticipating the course of the show, and fitting it on the remaining available blank tape resulted in a few extra 5 second cuts, flipping or changing tapes.
I had thought about using the sdbd to patch them, but that seemed not right somehow. So I'm going to put it up as is and the matrix magicians can take it from there.

Thank you for surviving, musigny23, and for sharing. I hope you feel the 22nd source was put to good and proper use. I imagine a similar treatment for the 23rd would be in order.

Hunter, thanks for the awesome show. They just get better and better.
And to the Dead Community, I can't thank you _all_ enough for sharing these shows out to the world. I listened to the Dead off and on in the 70's and didn't really see what all the fuss was about. Then a few years ago, I downloaded my first live Dead show and was completely hooked (finally got it). :-) |

| Hunter, I have Repulsion (it's a social disease of the mind, apparently), no, I have the movie and besides it being directed by Roman Polanski, couldn't remembver why I had gotten it, ah! Catherine Deneuve, THAT's THE TICKET! So, yes, I will be seeing that one soon. Thanks for the recent update on these shows, killer to have the cream of a good run in matrix format!!!!! I will be checkingout your list fo great moviews, btw. Thanks, man. Check out "Hugo Pool", not great, but with Robert Downey JR. Malcolm (or is it Roddy?) McDowell, Cathy Moriarty, Sean Penn, Patrick Dempsey, Richard Lewis, Allysa Milano, and some more, it is a wonderfully weird pic! |
