| This was a great show in the desert. Good jams and the Reba->Bold as Love encore was a fantastic end to the night. |

My favorite show of all time, such good silver, and that desert wind in your face all night.
I disagree that these sets are inverted, it didnt play like it that night. Nice set 1 with a well played SOAM and a very spacy drowned. As the sun set and set 2 commenced we instantly got a blow to the head with Carini - > Bug...one of my most favorite Phish live musical moments...pure bliss...
Anyway then the set gets really trippy with a jammed out Vultures, Limb x Limb, and from Antelope on it was just amazing, almost a dream state with Reba > axis..
Overall a "heavy" show in sound and vibe...with an underlying element of funky/space throughout most of the larger jam songs.

This was a very unusual venue for Phish at this point in their careers. It was pretty much a dirt oval with a stage at one end. Add a little wind, and Dirt seems to be an obvious song choice.
The style and content of this show is in marked contrast to the previous one, and I for one liked the change. |

this sounds like one of those shows where I wish I wasn't living in VA and had just been out there on that desert night.
oh yea, the next night opening up with that ultra trippy 2001 isn't too shabby either! |

| This show and the next night were phantsic. This was like a mini clifford ball with less less than 10k chilling in the desert. Sick, oh the memories, so glad they are back. |

"less than 10k"...how bouts less than 5k.....there was nobody at this show. I don't even think there was 3000 folks there.
It was like seeing a show at Wilmer's park in the late 80's before it got crazy there. |
