| THANKS FOR THIS....I recently heard the Scarlet/Fire on a boat ride down the Hudson before the 4/09 Dead show at MSG....about 150 heads, singing along to Mississippi 1/2 Step as we passed Statue of Liberty, courtesy of a live GD DJ....a great day. So glad you seeded this. :) |

| Killer stuff, man. Thx. My brother and I saw quite a few shows back in the day, beginning for me in Grass Valley. Thanks for this. 1985 was the best tapes we had to listen to all the way until about '90, and the music is timeless. "Dancin' In The Streets" is always fun. Cool. |

If you will notice, I doctored the taper image more and reversed some of the apparent dodging the original artist had done in the lower right portion, which created more haze than detail, IMO, and makes it look inconsistent. I did some burning along those areas. Now it looks super, ultra professional. ;) A soft copy of the image will be seeded with Vol. 26.

Damn it was hot these two days. Remember the guy fell out dead near the end of the show, you can hear some confussion on the tape.
Selling blotter acid from folding tables with signs and prices hanging out front.
"Bob's Gay?" this is when I heard it.

Thanks - the transmission in my VW Golf died at a friend's house in Northern VA and I had to miss both Merriweather shows in '85. Yikes This will bring back painful memories as I crank this up in my so-far reliable mazda.
