-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom & Todd....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

HUGE thanks to Lenny Harold for sharing his SHNs with us.
This is another very nice May '99 set from the Bell Atlantic Jazz Fest that ran in different cities over the course of a month or so. Don't let the P.A. distortion note scare you off as it's not really all that bad, and I only really noticed it during Rise Up...it may occur elsewhere, but that's the only point that I took note of in listening to the show today.
Anyway, the opening Improv > S/S > Open > Partido sequence is real nice ... |

| Thanks, duggy. You've been on fire. Between your posts and the recent tour I'm WAY behind. Not a terrible problem to have :) |
