Here is tonight's Greensky Bluegrass show from Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia. I was actually home for a few days and knew all about this show! I was pumped to see them headline at Eddie's. I got down to the venue with David "Cousin Eddie", at around 6:00. We hung out and chewed the fat with the guys and then headed over to our "sweet" spot for the night. We were situated about 15' from stage. We had a bite to eat with the boys prior to the show on the roof top.
The first set featured some nice selections such as Bottle Dry, Indian Trail, and the closer was a killer When Doves Cry! I mean a smoker! As the set wore on, folks kept filing in and I was happy to see a decent turnout. After a safety break outside, David and I headed back for the 2nd set. Reverend kicked it off, followed by 200 Miles. Broke Mountain>Funk Jam>Old Barns. I was again treated to my now favorite Dave tune, Train Junkie. White Freightliner closed the show for the encore, and it was of to the house. I invited the guys to spend the night, kick back, and relax. And that they did, or should I say are doing. The boys have a gig in Nashville tomorrow so this was a perfect spot to hang overnight.
Great hangin' with David, Lee and Weldon, Tarah and Dave, and and of course, the GSBG Boys! After the show we all headed up to the house to stretch out and relax. Dinner tonight was a Shrimp Po-Boy with Fresh Cut French Fries. Lee and Weldon needed help polishing off their Jerk Chicken Wings and Nachos. I felt I should do the right thing and lend my eating skills!
If you are in Nashville tomorrow, grab some Jack's Barbecue and head to the Mercy Lounge for a night of great tunes.

Can I get a "HELL YEAH!!??" KUDos to GReensky & the ZMAn for another stellar collaboration here! SUper crisp recording & stellar musicianship & energy from the band!! THE 1st set is absolutely SMOKIN' HOT - BOttle Dry, Indian TRail>WLotN, ALL FOUR, then Gold Dust, and WHen DOves CRy.........I'm just digging in to this show, so I'm gearing up for a blow-out in the 2nd Set!
