| This was a show that to this day remains one of my favorite JGB shows ever. Being a west coaster, I got to see more than my fair share of Jerry gigs, but this gig always sticks out. Obviously, Fall of '89 had the GD firing on all cylinders and this was the first JGB show after that famous Dead East coast tour. There was barely a note out of place this evening with the second set lasting as long as many GD second sets of the era (a full 90 minutes). Everything they played this night was en fuego. The Werewolves, though highly expected, absolutely shredded this night, probably the single best version ever. Jerry just *roars* through his solos. Thanks for this FOB...grabbing it now and can't wait for this upgrade. =^D Muchas Garcias, indeed! Eric |
