Thanks for helping protect the stand, Joe! Lindsey says "Hi!"
This first set burns on a CDR without overburn.
I reaLLy like the behind-SBD sound in the big flat venues!
Was nice of them to give us a center line for positioning. |

| I was curious about the sound behind the board, but I guess even more curious about the sound in front of the board, which is where I stayed. So, thanks for sharing this one. |

| Hey Mike, just curious why you ran without the windscreens? I realize it was sort of calm all weekend. The first night there was a bit of wind. That area is known for wind so I did not chance running "naked" and having to put screens on during the set. Nice job getting your torrents up. |

| is 90 deg the same as xy? it might be hard to run xy with windscreens. |
| padelimike |

I always thought true XY had the capsules one over the other
Mine were on a bar about 18 inches apart.
I ran screens the first 2 nights, and during the acoustic set. I was glad for that most of the time.
But after the sun went down Sunday, I knew at least the 441s would be OK.
Never took 'em off the CM700/CP701 or the e602.
I got the good screens, but I can "see" their effect, and if I can run without 'em, I feel in my heart the sound'LL be better.
... and thanks. zman IS da man! |

2 masters were made - 1 at 24/96 and 1 at 24/88.2. For this and aLL CD-"quality" uploads I will use the 88.2 master. Any High-Definition uploads will be sourced from the other recorder.
I'm trying to determine what the best combination of this capture with my 2 center mics will be. Stay tuned!
As flat and open as this place was, taping was like shootin' PHiSH in a barrel.
I did have the cutest stand in the place, though. Here's from 10/31, my PAS night:

Can I get a little help?
After spending the better part of the last few days working on 11-01-09 Acoustic Set, I'm stuck.
Any chance some folks could grab these 2 versions of "The Curtain With" and compare for me? My ears are a-buzzin' and I don't trust them any more.
Version "A" http://www.sendspace.com/file/mxc6kd
Version "B" http://www.sendspace.com/file/1m4u73
Whichever one is better, I'll upload to etree to go with this one. Also will include the corrected fade tracks for this one
thanks
