| Thanks a lot! The first half of Sugaree sounds a little nappy. But somewhere around the 4 or 5 minute mark it starts to sound more clear and louder as the song goes on. Nice recording and very jamming:) |

Most interesting. I'm "jeff" and I recorded this show. I also know 'andy'. he was there, using my ID to get in. This is a nice recording, but not my recording. This one will do until my original shows up on LL soon enough, and it will have a shnid. If you want to know what it is going to sound like, check out 4-25-82 on LL. I will start seeding it now on LL

The plot thickens. Because the files are all out of order and they swap between the two sets, I didn't think this was mine. Then I listened again for the "andy/jeff" reference, and sure enough, this is from my original tape. 27 years later and it surfaces! Wow.
I am the unknown taper. That's me, Jeffrey Knudsen. My original cassette is at Matt Smith's house waiting to get his a>d treatment and then on to the "GEMS" station for further peaking and tweaking. Then it will appear on LL. Meanwhile this version will certainly do. |
