I aslways really liked Black Muddy a lot more than say, another USBlues or. I Fought The Law, or a number of others. I think it could have turned into an almost Comes A Time, or Black Peter, or such if it had been played more, or if Garcia might have perhpas keyed up the solo a bit to try to reach a more emotional plane instead of merelly echoing the melody line, who knows, buyt this looks great. When you're tired of all this repetition, won't you... look for another Hunter matrix!!! |

Hunter. I taped the Rosemont run in '89, two of the three shows have been transferred by BGreen and seeded at LL.

I don't think that my 4/13 has been transferred yet.... I had persistent equipment problems during these shows ..... (largely due to a taping buddy's incompetence, but that is another story)..., we had a faulty cable, and there are numerous dropouts that required patches from the sbd source.... on the other hand, the audience recordings have a VERY pronounced ambience reflective of the actual sound room, so they MIGHT be worth a second listen......considering the request...
Again, for the life of me I cannot figure out why there are not more audience sources for these shows., There were the usual zillion mic stands up....ALL those masters, still in closets, boxes, storage, ........ thousands of them..... |

| As always, it was a labor of love. I hope that last 89 Rosemont gets transferred sometime soon..... I think my 88 Rosemonts are on the LMA as well.... |
