| Many thanks, gents! Section 213 was hoppin' last night, even though we had to stare at the back of the band! Great vantage to watch kuroda play, though! What a show! Place was ROCKIN'! My notables were Fluffhead, timber, hood, on your way down, coil...in no particular order! |

yo. I concur with toddmarcus.
I have done a thorough comparison of this vs. the padelimike senn source of the same date. After repeated listenings on the computer, home stereo, and iaudio flac palyer, this wins for me. the senn source is very good -- bright, roomy, but the low end is boombastic and distorted at times. Here we have plenty of bass but with crispness and balance. I like the sound of the guitar and vocals better here as well. Overall, this recording presents a more accurate and more enjoyable sound image, especially for headphone listening.
Flaschner is the mark of quality and distinction in phish recordings. Some of the best i've heard come from that man.
All of the recordings I've heard this tour have been excllent. you gentlemen are pros.
P.S. killer show. for example, check out On your way down.
Thank you. |
