and doesnt "normalize" afterwards.
things others may take notice of both in the field and the post processing realm.

Thanks. Looking forward to checking it out. Ended up not being able to use the 3rd row center seats i got - if you were the guy who bought them, i hope you enjoyed it.
I've only listened to the cobo show from the fall tour and i think they are playing better than the late summer, which was better than the early summer, which was better than hampton - so that's a great sign. |

The headphones are purely for my enjoyment, and that of others around me ( I like to share them ) as it sounds so much better under 'em. I'm not monitoring the recording, I typicaLLy don't change a thing.

First of all, wow!!! The sound on your recordings is always so great. It's funny because I have been listening to Phish since around '93 and collected tons of shows on tape and cd via snail mail trade, B&P's, you name it. I have so many shows DL'd and put on disc that my wife just doesn't understand. She doesn't care, just thinks its funny. She will never understand!! HAHA
I download lots of different folks pulls from shows and just end up listening to the best one of course. I tend to obviously look for certain people who seem to do the best work and that normally works out but how much better is one guys rig to the next. Some are so bassy and some just so crisp I wouldnt take a soundboard over it anyday. I never understand what everyone is talking about with the Mics and such other than the number of them and where they are located. Sorry for being so long winded.
