| Biggest crowd response witnessed personally ! The joint went totally apeshit! Spine tingling.. Loved the first set too, just a Great show from top to bottom. Saw over 50 shows after this but none ever reached this level. The last hurrah. One of those nights. |

| The biggest crowd response I ever saw was when Bruno Sammartino beat Ivan Koloff in a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden. That's when we were kids. I was at this gig too and mighty glad I was. Thanks for the new source. |

I was 12 years old,1977. Cobb county civic center (marietta ga) Ivan Koloff had just beat i dont remember who, but i hated Ivan Koloff. So, i dumped the remaing ice out of my papercup, crushed the cup, stood up and threw it down from the second level (about 30 feet away) and hit Kolooff square on the top of his head. He looked up and grimaced at me, pointed and started yelling. About 2 seonds later, i was grabbed from behind by my elbows, lifted off the ground and carried towards the backdoor. The guard kicked the door open and tossed me right out!. I walked around the front andwaited on my friends. i was an instant hero and coolguy at school for the next 3 weeks.
I was all about Black Atlas back then. Of course he was de masked and became "Tony Atlas"

there were 3 for me two were 10-11 garden and 10-15 hartford and the 3rd probably louder but not by much, was when hulk hogan hit the ring at the garden for wwf rematch against the macho man!!!!!!!!!
but the garden St Stephen was crazy a very good friend of mine was delivering a amp to Mickey and heard them sound check it over and over when we got in he had a smile wrapped around his face and told us what happened, and the rest is history. My wife did not go that nite cause of school. She went to Hartford praying for both China Doll and St Stephen. We had 1 seat around 15th or 17th row DFC and there were three of us 2 D-5s and a mic stand in the one seat and once again the rest was history |

| Beautiful recording, Dave. That you would pull out this show of all shows tonight of all nights is an absolutely ridiculous coincidence that I'll explain in detail when I next see you. Essentially, though, TODAY I just so happened to reconnect with all three of the people that I drove to Hartford from Williamsburg, VA this day in history. Amazing. |

Thanks for sharing this!
I noticed "minglewood blues" was left out on the text file.
Should appear as track 3 of disc 1 (after Dire wolf, before BEW). |
