Thanks ...
I like-a the boomy. The boomy is good, no? I get you more boomy!
This deserves to be the most-downloaded show so let's everyone make those 0s and 1s fly! |

Can the official SBDs be uploaded or is that strictly verboten? We can't buy them anywhere that I know of so maybe someone will share theirs?
Happy Holidays to all |

I too like the 'boomy' (which it isn't)
I like to hear some bass in Phil's playing, not just super clean notes - deep, rumbling bass!
nice recording, especially considering the location - thanks for sharing!
Shakedown is one for the ages :)

Thanks for sharing.
'Boomy' can be a really lame thing if the bass drum sounds too bumping and ends up just bleeding in with Phil's bass.
I won't hear this recording until tomorrow so I cant comment on how bad the boominess is, but usually if a recording is too boomy it never makes it onto disc.
Thanks again for sharing. |

I'm listening to the flac files with fubar2000 (no eq) through headphones - this is NOT boomy - in fact, there's even some stereo separation (John on the left, Bobby on the right)
I love how this sounds! - any and all other sources are appreciated, but I can't see anyone getting it better than this ;)
thanks - Zeb |

| This show was incredible! The best post Jerry lineup I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Having 6th row center seats didn't hurt either. I hope they continue to tour for a while |

this is a nice recording. would like to hear some other copies surface, too. There were some folks recording with Schoeps active cables on a stand, probably 15' in front of the balcony on a stand dead center. that will be a good tape...where is it?!
best post-jerry phil+bob show i've ever seen, the second set was a scorcher. couple minor mis-cues in set 1, trying to end shakedown, alabama...the jams were all really good regardless. but second set was all business. great stuff.
thanks for taping |

I think the taper was a little hard on himself, the recording has a solid bottom end, it isn't 'boomy'.
There's nothing worse than listening to a recording and not getting your Phil. This one delivers.
And thanks for the tip on livedownloads.com.
Happy Holidays to all, to those in the northeast US, enjoy Winter Storm Albert! |

Thanks for sharing.
This does have some bass...which I easily fixed before I burned it to disc.
It sounds pretty sweet now. |
