-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:
http://week4paug.net/index.php/topic=1573.0
enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug |

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.
For instance, all 2008-2009 setlists are up to date with actual titles, etc |

Another night of Camp for us to hear thanks to camper and taper, keitharc. This entire set is with Dave Tronzo and man, it is just another fine example (like the previous night) of why MMW are the most interesting musical ensemble out there ... Tronzo fits in with these guys just about as well as Ribot ... check it out!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS!!!
And you can read about keitharc's Camp MMW experience here:
Pt. 1 - http://www.mmw.net/dcf/DCForumID6/2952.html
Pt. 2 - http://www.mmw.net/dcf/DCForumID6/2956.html
Pt. 3 - http://www.mmw.net/dcf/DCForumID6/2957.html
Also, the last night of camp was comprised of performances by the student ensembles which were only captured in MP3 due to limited recording space. This night of music (which includes one tune by MMW) is being shared here:

Wow wow, this is bound to be good! I've been hoping to hear more of MMW + Tronzo ever since hearing the ridiculous chemistry btw him and Medeski playing with Club d'Elf (10.12.06 - Late Show).
Thanks gents! Happy holidays!

If you're looking for more MMW w/ Tronzo, be sure to grab Halloween 2006:
http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=529442
... w/ Airto Moreira as well (and Airto's wife Flora on some vocal improv)
Anyway, Tronzo rips that show too!
This Camp set though, is VERY intimate ... wonderful, really.
I am listening to this, and the night before with just the trio ALL THE TIME!!!
I can't thank Keith enough for having captured these performances ... and, of course, the band for playing and allowing us to share in this stuff! |

Tronzo is a dish best served up with d'elf.
However the trozo MMW appetizer is great. |

| This probably won't get read since the torrents have been up for a while and I should have done this right away but the holidays sidetracked me. I need to publicly thank duggy for doing all the work getting these shows up. We corresponded for over a month before he got everything the way he wanted. He put alot of work into this project and I can't thank him enough. Hope everyone is enjoying them. Keith |
