Here is last night's Ultraviolet Hippopotamus show from Ann Arbor. The weather had turned bad during the day as it snowed most of the day. I decided I was ready for a show. I was going to watch the Texas vs. Alabama game at Ron's house. I figured they had tv's at the Blind Pig. I listened on the way to the show, and when McCoy got hurt after 5 plays, I knew it was over immediately. A shame to lose in such a manner. I got there just before doors and started setting up and chatting with Wolfie. I said hello to Rachel and Brian with U V Hippo. Glad they remembered me from the Bowling Green show! I asked Wolfie if they had WIFI and he said yes. I ran down the street and grabbed my laptop. I called Martin as I figured I would attempt to stream the show live. I had very little time to screw around as Hippo was about to start. With Martin's help, I got it going, although it did not sound very good. I played with everything to get it down so it did not sound distorted.
Hippo played a 55 minute set as they opened the show. They played 6 tunes with a couple of them new to me. There is not an official name to the new Dave tune, but we called it Energy. Medicine was a very good opener. The set was basically a sound check as these guys normally play a long show! The crowd was thin, but then again, it was miserable outside. I was glad that we ended up with a few folks on the stream. I know CB enjoyed it!
Great hangin' with Tuna, Brennan, Griffin, and Jesse of the Macpods, Randall and Evan of the Ragbirds, Andrew Z., Christin, Rachel, Brian, Luke, and of course Wolfie!
Dinner on the ride up was Extra Spicy General Tso's from China King! Late night snack was a stop at the New York Pizza Depot for the last slice of Stuffed Eggplant with Ricotta and Mozzarella Pizza.

Thanks for recording zman....Wish i would have seen your text about the stream...But atleast its up here so fast for everyones enjoyment! Ill throw this up on Archive for you as well...Will post the link here when its all finished!
