1998 was the fire and this show is easily one of the best. THe whole second set tore the roof off that small building.
Here is my GROVEL, since we are talking about 1998. I have been looking for this show for over 2 years, since my tapes got ruined in a open window/rain fiasco.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
This is a really great show; 4 firsts of that tour this night, as well as three others that hadnt been played since the first couple of shows. One of my favorites and my Maxell tapes finally got ruined in a horrible water incident.
I can trade, BnP or would love a kind torrent.
Thank you in advance Tela

| I agree with this being one of the best of '98. Still one of my fav's ever. Probably the loudest panic show I'd ever seen till Austin, this year. It took me several years to find a recording (cd), but I never found a dat. What a show... The tracking is messed up and I'm pretty sure it's was a dat>cd burner xfer, so it needs work. I can always eac it if we can't find someone to do a solid transfer and torrent. Course we also need a dat for that... I don't know how it never ended up on puba, but I never saw it there. |

| Meanwhile, the Widespread Panic "archivist" is busy overseeing a multitrack release of last week's NYE show. Sigh... |

I have always been a big fan of this show. Gret energy from the crowd and solid play. Some pretty interesting jams mixed throughout the show as well.
Lots of great shows from this tour.
Anyone have 10-24-98 from the American Theater, St. Louis??? Been looking all over for that one. |
