Hey pholks. It has been a while since I threw one up from the archives, so I figured this would be good as any...
I came across this gem purely by accident as I am trying to archive my music collection on portable HD's. I think that I may have shared this on a DC++ hub years ago, but the memory is foggy. At any rate, this is a very good version which I am happy to share. I think all will agree that it captures the raw energy of The Slip playing their 1st gig in Montreal w/ borrowed gear.
Lots of jazz-inspired jamming, complete w/ phatty cover songs.
Highlights are too many to mention, but suffice to say the 2nd set climaxes with an incredible 'Yellow Medicine' .
