Here is Friday night's City Champs set from The Variety in Atlanta. They opened for the NMAS. I always seem to enjoy the openers NMAS puts on their tours. Hill Country Review, they hit a home run. These guys are friends of theirs from back home in Memphis.
The material was all new to me. Any setlist help will be appreciated. It was great that Luther came out and joined these guys to kick it up a notch! I saw the Gamble Brothers open up for Galactic a few years ago. I am thinking Al Gamble, the keyboardist for City Champs, is the same. If so, no wonder I liked his work so much!
Great to hang with Cousin Eddie, John B (Thanks for the clamp space), Ira and Trent, Robert Kwon, Heather, Michael and the 2 Ashleys, Pete, Sam and Brad, and the rest of the FOB gang.
Dinner tonight was some Chicken Noodle Soup from China King out in Gwinnett County. Late night snack was a couple of fresh Pizza Slices from Uncle Vito's as Peter, Cousin Eddie, and I stopped on the way home. Feel free to help with the setlist.

Thanks for the up, Z. Yup, same Al Gamble from GBB. GBB has since parted ways unfortunately. Brother Chad is with Jason Isbell now, and sax man, Artie E, is with Mofro. Not sure what the bass man is up to these days. Anyways, here's some of the setlist I could muster.
