Hello all,
The cold month of February sure has been home to some hot music here in Chicago. Here is the Charlie Hunter Trio show from last night at the Beat Kitchen. Really a phenomenal show all the way around. Great guitar work, tight drums and some great trombone from Curtis. I was definitely diggin' it. This was a bit different format than I'm used to taping Charlie in being that it was played to a standing crowd. I wasn't sure quite what to expect crowd noise wise but I must say that the crowd was fairly respectful of the music for most of the show. Great hanging with bakedgoods and lloydboss on this one and great to see jdyjohns and everyone else as well!
