| While following the Project '94, I noticed the only listing in the db for this show is an aud. recording. Checking my tapes I found set 2 on a tape labeled 3rd gen SBD & transferred it. It's not totally complete, most of Jim is missing & there's a small cut in the Mike's jam as noted. If it's an uncirculated SBD though, so be it. Here's hoping for an even lower gen copy - enjoy!! |

| so then SBD is a better quality usually.... does that mean it's been taped by phish and released by them too? |

SBD vs AUD ... people can argue all day over this one!
Though I probably hadn't heard this show in at least ten years, I remembered this jam out of Mike's to be one of my favorite bits and pieces of '94, so when I downloaded this a couple of days ago I cranked it up accordingly. I dropped Stacy Starkweather an e-mail and mentioned that this had just been torrented. I asked him if he had any recollections of the show that he'd want to share with the etree community, and he obviously has a different attitude about this concert than I do: "I have plenty of memories of that show...mainly because it was the only time I ever officially played with them and it was an unmitigated disaster from my perspective...I'll write more and explain..." So, stay tuned . . . |
