| Thank you Tim! Not a packed house so there was plenty of groove space. I sure was thrilled to shake hands with Mike after the show and thank him for coming to Bmore. It was very nice to see them in my hometown, and what a great show. Danny Barnes was a gas. A bunch of nice guys. |

Track 9: Emotional Railroad segues into Voices around the 8min mark
Track 13: Jones segues into Swamp Music around the 13min mark
Track 15: is the new song "Fire From A Stick"
Overall, this is the best sounding (besides some slight vocal feedback in opening jam) show from Mike spring tour. Great job. And man, what a show. That "Jones" is super funky. The addition of the banjo to "I'm Deranged" was a great call. Wonder who played it since everyone was switching instruments?

During Deranged:
Mike, Scott, and Danny faced each other, took off their instruments, and passed to the left, resulting in Scott on bass, Danny on guitar and Mike on banjo. Then after some crazy moments, Mike and Danny traded, with Mike playing a solo on guitar, and then Scott took a bass solo, and mike and scott traded back to get back into deranged. It was the first, and probably last, time I'll ever see mike play bass, banjo, and guitar in one show, and during one song!
thanks for this source, the trip up from Charleston SC never felt so good or worth it. |
