notes:
The original DAT recording was made with pre-emphasis.
The Waves Q10 Paragraphic EQ (v5.0) plug-in was used to de-emphasize the recording.
The original 48 kHz .wav files from the DAT transfer have been archived, and are available upon request.
Big thanks to Eliot Byron for letting me borrow his DAT tape!

patch notes:
There was a fairly large cut on Tom's AKG source, towards the end of "Slave",
and one small drop-out during "Golgi".
I patched these spots with the following source:

Akg 460/ck61's
http://db.etree.org/shn/28444

The patch source was de-emphasized, because it had clearly been recorded with pre-amphasis.
The patch source was used at the following spots:

Slave to the Traffic Light
[07:23] to [09:16]

encore break
[00:00] to [00:13]

Golgi Apparatus
[02:37] to [02:42]

thanks for sharing !!!

I love the heavy metal tension that develops about 10.5 minutes into the mikes, besides the nasty guitar page is playing this evil carnival music. Love it. You can hear them developing this sound through the whole year and sorta climaxing in this mike's.

Another Phish bomber delivering the music to the ears

Thank you tapers and traders!
This was my first show and it changed my musical life forever. My college roomate who previously tortured me by playing Phish in our room just to get under my skin, but he had a plan. He told me he'd pay for my ticket and a ticket to another show if I didn't enjoy the Phish show.
I had never heard a live show on tape but I was familiar with a few tunes, YEM, The Divided Sky, Reba. When they laid down a Buried Alive opener I was hooked. After The Divided Sky I was in awe of just how good these guys were. It was at this point I wanted to see them play anything, anytime.
Since then I have seen them about 26 times and each one was special in its own way. I am pleased to see the guys back together and in fine form if I might say so myself.
Just so you know I'm a serious phan even with the low show count; Me and my fellas walked into my wedding to the beautiful Bliss off of Billy Breathes, and my son, Trey, is now 14 months old.
