Here is the Stanton Moore Trio set from the 420 Festival at Candler Park in
Atlanta. This was just some icing on the cake as Chris and I were driving
back from Wanee. He was going to drop me off and go home to bed. He got
about 4 blocks away and dropped me off as traffic was thick. I hoofed 4
blocks and set up just in front of the soundboard. Brian W and Robert Kwon
were already set up and taping there. I missed half the first song. I did not realize who made up the trio, but was I surprised to see Robert Walters on keyboard, and Anders Osborne on guitar! Nice to have George Porter Jr. sit in on 2 songs as well.
Great to hang with Kiel and Jenn, Bill, Seth, Heather, Pat and
Robyn, Bill, Dr. K, Brian, Robert, Tony, Mark, Ron, and the rest.
Dinner tonight was prepared by Chris and we ate when we got to the house. it
consisted of a Fresh Corned Beef, Sour Dough Bread, Pasta Salad, and a
Chocolate Cake!
Enjoy show # 100 of 2010!

| So actually I think this should probably be billed as the "Anders Osborne Trio" with Stanton Moore and Robert Walter. Apparently this is the trio that plays on Anders' new album, and they are also billed as such for the upcoming Crawfish Festival in NJ. The songs all appear to be Anders originals.... |
