Here is tonight's Tommy Talton show from Marietta. I spoke with Tony G early this evening as he was playing with Tommy in the Trio. Back in the mid-seventies, my
buddies and I were big fans of the Boyer and Talton/Gregg Allman Band tour. I just saw Tommy sit in with the Allman Brothers Band. I burned himthe discs and when I
handed them to him, he was very appreciative! I grabbed the table dead center in front of the stage and ran my mics at the stage lip. Good thing as the folks back a
bit were eating, drinking, and yapping all night. None of that garbage on my recording! We got 3 short sets, actually the third set was only 2 songs, so I tacked it on the 2nd set disc. Some nice originals and some very nice covers as well. Come to find out, Tommy lives quite close to me.
Great hangin' with Syd, OB, Keith, and Joe from Hittin' The Note, and of course Tommy, Tony, and Hurl!
Late night dinner consisted of leftover Chicken Parmesan and Garlic Bread from lunch.
