4. Rescue Spreaders
5. Dory's Day Out
7. Dwarf >
8. "Jazz Jesus" interlude
9. Punk Rock Guilt
10. Fat Redneck Gangster >
11. The Real Morning Party (James Booker style)

Garage A Trois:
Stanton Moore: drums
Mike Dillon: percussion, vibraphones
Marco Benevento: keys
I only normalized from minute 18 to the end. The first 18 minute are loud enough (including a few peaks that aren't too bad), then I turned the volume down on the recorder and I guess I turned it down too low.
"It's OK Little Timmy"
"What's that sound?"
"That's Jazz Jesus coming to save you."
"Jazz Jesus? Ooh, Jazz Jesus."
"I had a dream last night with the ghost of Corky standing beside the nine foot high Jazz Jesus. Jazz Jesus lowered one of his many hands and the ghost of Corky grabbed his finger, and he pulled his finger and this ... sound ... emi... tted ... from ... Jazz ... Jesus' ... mighty ... mouth"

|Helll yeah. Also caught them on wed nite at the wolf but thought this set was more the scorcher of the two.
|Multibeast, that's nice to hear. I almost wanted to catch their Howlin Wolf set on wednesday night, but I had just rolled into town from Kentucky, so we decided to get some rest that night.
|Excellent job on the taping and seeding...many thanks!
The wolf show was maybe half full so you had alot of space...could walk right up to the stage...quite diff from the scene at OEJ...where the intensity level was up several notches.
|Kentucky rules...as does jazz fest..
|No doubt- Wolf was way late with all musicians pulling double duty on the bill for many hours before GAT rolled in. 10 pm OEJ set fucking sleighed..thanks for pulling this.
Now, who on here made it to the Dragon's Den for Hairy Apex BMX Sat night start time 3 am? I did not see any gear there but that show was disgusting...Mike D, Spiece, JJ, Sutherland and Brian Coogan. Epic.
|PRAISE JAZZ JESUS
thanks for taping and sharing!
|funk I was at that Hairy Apes show!... praying that a tape surfaces. that punk jazz cover of Ween's "Roses are free' was something else.
|ALL HAIL JAZZ JESUS!
And you, RBayers, for snagging some of this year's ridiculousness in NOLA. You are a saint among men.
|These seeds have been great - thanks so much!
Thanks to the seeder, the taper, and of course the band. This show has been added to the "official unofficial jazzfest vault". Our aim is to archive and distribute every show ever taped during jazzfest in NOLA. If you think you have some uncirculated fest seeds, or are looking for a particular show, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a complete copy of the vault list. Over 400 shows strong!!!
|Thanks very much Randy for getting Jazz Fess to guys like me that didn't make it this time.
I'm enjoying the shows and appreciate the effort and generosity!
1) who the taper was at Surprise Me Mr Davis - 4/30 Hi Ho? -Looked like large diaphragm mics (170's or u89's)
2) If New Mastersounds 4/30 (5/1 am) at HOb was recorded?

|Hell yeah on the New Mastersounds late HOB show! Krewe de Blender was in the house and rockin' it!
I did not see any mics in the crowd - hope i'm wrong, however i was blinded by the sonic funking of the nms so who knows?
|funk_lin...i believe it was you who hooked me up with the Ozric Tentacles recording...
Beachland Ballroom, Cleveland ...a few yrs back...
Have a killer jfess?
|FessJazztival '10 treated my crew well

|New Mastersounds from HOB is coming......
|I came here looking for THIS year's One Eyed Jack's show, but this will do :]
Saw them twice in two weeks, once @ JazzFest, and once @ Brooklyn Bowl this past Saturday night for the last night of the tour. WOW what a show.
Thanks for taping, and thanks even more for posting.... People like you keep us all going, and it is VERY much appreciated.
