| Description | *FIXED* My original jazz fest torrents (all 5) were resampled with dbpoweramp, which introduced some nasty noise artifacts and really degraded the sound. I'm fixing them all and re-torrenting, so please delete the old ones. You'll notice a huge difference I think - RLBayers 5/18/10

I only normalized from minute 18 to the end. The first 18 minutes are loud enough (including a few peaks that aren't too bad), then I turned the volume down on the recorder and I guess I turned it down too low.

GAT has never sounded better, and the ground they've broken in the few years since charlie left... i just don't hear anybody complaining about the total reinvigoration of this band or clamoring for a return of the 7-string prima donna.
and if you're going to get technical, then it hasn't been garage a TROIS since mike dillon joined the band. if you're not going to complain about that "rule bend", why this one? |

at GAT's riverboat show one year (either '01 or '02 i think), skerik made a big deal of the whole "4 people in a 'trois' band" issue, educating the crowd (and "legitimizing" mike as an official member even though his name *still* wasn't on the flyers at the time), and doing so in frenglish ta'boot:
skerik: "n'est son PAS le trois! n'est son PAS le trois! son le QUATRE! son garage a QUATRE! oui! 'who is the fourth?' you ask. look behind me, what do you see?
