hansokolow's notes:
These are two sources that really complemented each other and were very forgiving to the matrixing process. The DSBD is beautifully clear but so dry it's almost anti-septic, and Keith's beautiful DAUD brings the crowd back into the conversation. I attended the following night's show, the only one of the run I caught. Hopefully releasing this show and Sunday's show will flush out an AUD of Friday's show, so I can make a matrix of that, too. Dig deep in those boxes, people!

To burn this to cd, you can get it on two discs by putting the split after Ship Of Fools.

Before set 1 there are 4:05 of DAUD only crowd noise before the SBD kicks in.

Crowd noise is missing from the DSBD between Wang Dang Doodle and Brown Eyed-Women, between Brown-Eyed Women and Queen Jane, between Queen Jane and Tennesee Jed, and between Tennessee Jed and Music Never Stopped.

There are split-second cuts on the DSBD in Tennessee Jed at 1:20, 1:36, and 6:18.

Before set 2 there is 1:07 of DAUD only crowd noise before the SBD kicks in.

There are about 3 seconds of digifuzz on the DSBD in Woman Smarter at 0:34.

The crowd noise between Morning Dew and the encore is missing from the DSBD.

Not the biggest fan of the '90s, but this looks really good, and I remember a copy of these shows I had years ago, and they are SUPER CLEAN. It will be fun to have a bit o' crowd noise in the mix. Never like Shoreline Amph., grass is hard and the arrangement is backwards, the seats should be in the back for the folks who are not as inlined to want to move around too much, and the front section should have been open so people can get close, get loose, dance, what have you.

Anyway, thanks, this looks great!

Thank YOU, Hunter. Finally figured out how to seed for myself. I appreciate your tender tutelage.

And thanks for the thanks, peacefulparker. I think you guys are gonna like this one, if you like Hornsby-dominated awesomeness like I do. I'm working on the next night now, Sunday, and I faintly remember being at that show. About to turn 20, I was. And I remember missing this one and being pissed about missing the H>S>F opener. Not to mention the first set Dark Star Bruce pretty much forced on the band on Friday night, everyone was buzzing about that one. Somebody find me and AUD of Friday's show, seriously. They exist.

enjoy.
