| WWWWWOOOOWW! Charlie, you are a wunderkind! This is indeed a wonderfully pleasant surprise. IMHO, one of the top 5 post-77 shows. Thanks WHARFRAT73 for seeding. |

Hmm, can't hit the site and none of my torrents are connecting either, but all other torrents on other trackers are just fine... I'll try clearing my cache and give 'ol bessy here a restart. I just assumed there was a site problem since everything else is working just fine, sometimes being patient backfires!
Thanks for the advice, didn't even need to restart, utorrent found the tracker now, too :) |

thanks so much for this. Great memories, what a Scarlet>Fire!
Does anyone remember Brent falling out of his seat at the start of the second set? Was it this night or the previous? He was hammered! Which may explain the Hey Jude.... |

I remember seeing Brent at the soundboard during Drums and Space. The energy at this show was pretty intense. At the beginning of Hey Jude it was at a peak, then Brent forgot the words...and it kinda killed the energy if only temporarily.
I always assumed he was at the board to tell the sound and light folks that they were going to do Hey Jude. Not Fantasy > Jude which was quite common at the time, they were going to try to play Hey Jude.
I don't remember him falling out of his seat, but I do remember him reacting to forgetting the words - just kinda putting his head on the keyboard as if to say, "oh shit".
Nice try anyway...and a great show from a great tour.
That summer he seemed pretty hammered at a lot of shows. Lots of cussing and whatnot. And of course we all know what happened after the summer tour. Man I dug Brent. RIP. |

I loved Brent too... Hey Pockey Way from the night before was raging. Hammered or not, he played great both nights...blown lyrics aside. I thought both of these shows had great energy, the border crossing kept the madness down and the scene outside was relaxed.
Great sound and great performance, pure spring 90. |
