We now bring you an important emergency message from the MOTB Emergency broadcast Network...
Cough!...Douche bag.!.. Cough!
Blow Job!.. Cough.. Blow Job... Cough
Eat me! Cough.. Eat Me.. Cough
This has been a test of the emergency, freeloader being a douche bag system..
If MOTB actually cared that Tilomagnet continues to draw breath he would have been instructed on how to put on clothes other than his stained underwear. He would have then been directed where and what bridge to throw him self from..
In the event Tilomagnet uses a colostomy bag and his underwear is just dirty, the contents of the bag would have been spewed on him at which time n he would be thrown from said bridge...
I repeat this has only been a test...
Now back to your scheduled programming... |

| Knudsen, you fuck! Saw your blog after downing this show and figured that we should correspond. A couple of notes, first I know that you havent a clue who this is (which makes this fun) and secondly the Saddle Rack is/was owned by the father of the guy who is married to my sister in law so I have heard quite a few stories of that venue's shinanigans. Matter of fact I even have a story to share but not sure if everyone in this community is interested as its a bit off topic. I dont know if this is a way to get in touch and I found no email address in any of the text files. So if any one knows how to get a hold of Jeff Knudsen and his curriosity is such that he wants to touch bases please forward my email to him. Thanks thanks and uh....thanks. alfamatty@yahoo.com hope its ok to post an email here. |

I don't get any of this weird debacle going on here. All I did was send my cassette to be transferred and then the MOTB boys did a righteous job on mastering it and torrenting it. Now where ever it has been hosted there are a zillion negative comments. Why? What is the problem with people getting free music? I just don't get it. Instead of people yapping about cassette this and multigen that --- if you have a better copy the PUT-IT-UP. It is that simple.
Just to clear up a "small" problem, we now believe that the Sugaree is NOT FM, and I don't owe anyone anymore explanation, take or leave. |

| PS --- "tilomagnet" I would suggest that you delete your files. I don't want you to stoop so low and sully your reputation. |

Thank YOU Jeff Knudsen and ALL involved for your generosity and EFFORTS.
As for the negative comments....? I always thought deadheads were more a brotherly community of righteousness and thanks. |

The Saddle Rack was always funny and funky place to see music. the mechanical bull was a hoot. everyone played there. johnny winter and gregg allman frequently.
There's a low res copy of a newspaper photo about two-thirds down the page here:
http://www.bvnasj.org/history.htm
of what the location looked like in San Jose. |

geez, sounds like Fox news vs. MSNBC - I just want to thank whomever for getting this show on line - it got me thru a lot of crappy days stuck at boarding school in the 80's while you guys/gals got to see him then
let's not lose sight of JGB/GD-"something is better than nothing' - now if someone could re-seed or upload??? (I'm a total novice at this stuff so please excuse my ignorance) 11-11-82 I really, really luv ya!

thanks. I appreciate it.
but I thought MOTB was all about audience tapes recorded fob, in the impact zone, high pressure sound levels, etc.......i.e., the mouth of the beast?
I prefer a great audience to a great soundboard, and love all the MOTB releases.
and don't get me wrong, I'm appreciative, but I think it dilutes the MOTB ethos / mission, whatever you want to call it, by releasing sbds under the MOTBf flag, be they multi-generational or not.
thanks again. |

| Thanks for a great-sounding show. Doesn't matter to me if it's aud or sbd if it sounds this good. |

| one of my favrite jerry band shows ever! i had a high gen tape of this in high school and listened to it a million times! the FM broadcast was one of my favorite parts of the tape, the dj would come in and say..."this is Fat in the saddle" or something like that. the radio station was KFAT and it always made me feel like i was listening to radio in '82 and Jerry happened to be ripping it up with his killer band. This whole show is smoking and the Midnight Moonlight is one of my favorite versions! |
