This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

This was (presumably) taped in front of the column on the floor DFC/FOB at the Ritz (now Disco Rodeo)... I think I have cass(1) of this source...

Yes, I was right in front of that giant view-obstructing pipe in the middle. Since I've now upgraded to more costly gear, I have to say I am still pretty impressed with the sound of this one. One of my favorite recordings from this era. Hope everyone enjoys! |
