I had intended to seed Serafin's shind=199, but when I pulled it up today I realized I had fixed the sector boundary errors before tagging. There are already 2 other sources in circulation that are sbe fixes (13961 & 21370). I'll not add another.
This source states it also comes from Serafin's CD. So it seems there is only I distinct source in circulation for this show.

So Germain: Two questions, if you don't mind (I apologize for my amateur status). Please & thanks.
1) I had downloaded this previously, as gd74-02-24.sbd.serafin.hollister.200.sbeok.shnf
That is the same as what you have uploaded, except in shnf as opposed to flac. Correct?
2), I had downloaded these as well...

-The only source of this show came through Jay Serafin in shind=199.
-Though not clearly stated, this source (shnid=200) appears to be an EAC of a Serafin's CD with sector boundary errors fixed.
-Shnid=13961 was an sbe fix encoded to flac in 2002.
-Shnid=21360 was an sbe fix encoded to shn a year or so later.
The st5 signatures of my sbe fix of shnid 199 matches with 21360. Now that I think about it, I suppose I could circulate my copy as 21360.
The ffp signatures of 13961 do not match 21360 nor my flac encoded 200, but the text clearly states that it is an sbe fix of Serafin's source. An EAC is listed in the text which likely explains the difference in audio data.
My guess is that SirMick did another sbe fix because flac was a new and not a well known format at the time. No CD>EAC in his source either.
I seriously doubt there is a nickel's worth of difference between any of the sources. However, a purist would want either 199 or 21360 because neither has an EAC step in the lineage. |

SIRMick's source is 21370 and has an eac also:

You're right aolong. I missed that.
SirMick's lineage matches Serafin's. He took 199, converted back to wav, fixed the sbe, and encoded back to shn.
This source appears to have different checksums because of a different EAc extraction.
I suspect 13961 has different checksums due to different settings on the sbe fix. |

I used to drive to Ocean City to visit family several times a year. This Dark Star got me across the Bay Bridge so many times I can't count. Phil and Jerry go from Saturn to Spain in the blink of an eye.
For me, this one beats Alexandria Palace by a nose - a very short and stubby nose, to put a finer point on it. |
