Thanks for this very much.
Now I have to ask, and I apologize since this will sound jerky, but if it isn't ego that makes a person seed so that everyone finishes at the same time after hours of extra downloading time, then what is it? I've always heard that it's best to get as many seeds as possible as quickly as possible and frankly a seed that I jumped on five hours ago should have been long done by now.
Again I appreciate all the work the tapers do and this is rarely an "issue" - and yes, I remember the days where we might get tapes a month after a show if we were lucky - but seeding shows shouldn't be done this way if you ask me. Just my opinion. Thanks again for the source, it's appreciated no matter how long it takes. |

| the seeder is probably seeding this is fast as their internet connection allows. there's no "ego" or any conscious decision involved. just limited upload speed so that the download takes longer than you have come to enjoy (with so many people on very fast connections these days). |

| Fair enough. I learned to seed to only a few people so that more seeds are made quickly, rather than seed tiny bits to everyone. Perhaps this is impossible for the seeder, who knows. Either way it sounds great and thanks again. |
