Thanks Joe. I have been anxiously waiting for this today. I have been reading all day about how bad Bobby was. I hope that what I have been reading has been overblown.
Thanks for all of your efforts. I had the pleasure of meeting you one night at a Raddog show in Westbury. You were a true gentleman.

I was set up right next to Joe and boy did he nail it. What an absolute disaster of a show. Bobby owes all the fans and the band a big apology. Some people paid over $250 on stub hub to get tix for that poor excuse of a show. And the sound at Nokia is flat taboot.
zmanatl 2010-07-29 15:53:40
Nice work Joey! I heard how bad it was, now I will have to give it a listen, cringe..............
Sabresfan 2010-07-29 16:07:29
Sounds great. But I am a little over 1 minute into BEW and it is straight painful.

That is a shame that they charge as much as they do and then come out and perform like that. If you're going to charge $50, you better be bringing the heat, every night, IMO.
devolvershemp72 2010-07-29 16:07:52
Man that sucks
macdoogle 2010-07-29 16:35:08

Thank you very, very much Joe!!!

Wow! I was not there, but am going tonight.

Why was it so bad? Any specifics? Or where can I read about this train wreck?

Who was the two Brooklyn show?

I was and thought they were great.

What do you think?

Thanks. Peace. Thanks again JoeB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The El Paso was the worst flub I've seen. Interested to hear wha the rest of the show is like. Thanks!!
schbos 2010-07-29 18:25:52

dansisler 2010-07-29 18:33:28
poor Bobstar, one bad gig and everyone is ready to replace him with Rob eaton. I was at a ratdog show in SD a few years back and Bob looked horrible and sang even worse. the band came on stage for the second set without him and did their thing....turns out he was battling a wicked flu.

jaded_vet 2010-07-29 18:34:49
Bobby forgot the words to one of the more difficult songs in their
playbook. And he owes people an apology? LOL
dansisler 2010-07-29 18:36:07
oh, and what folks paid for tickets to scalpers on stub hub is their problem...
nipster8 2010-07-29 20:02:38
Save your $$$$, They're definitely not all that!!!
snookyflowers 2010-07-29 20:22:42
Stop your bitchin and go on Phish tour! It leaves me with more room to dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Joe!
waterman 2010-07-29 20:28:00
Well, they've been playing their asses off so far this summer. I'm not a big Furthur fan, but I thought there have been some mighty fine shows lately. Winter tour was "meh" both in terms of sound quality and performance, last year was ridiculous, but give the devil their due. Frankly, the only "El Paso" I've ever cared for was Marty Robbins (RIP ) version. To get a flub is a welcome change up. Perhaps the next time you fuck up at work all day long or show up hung over and are useless, that day can be your "El Paso".
