When I first saw this, I thought aaaaahhh - now that I look at it, this looks GREAT! Thanks for your work. That'll teach me.........

i just reseeded jerry does van. on the downside, it's at 99%. on the upside, all the flac files are fine. it's the covers and checksums that aren't right. i'll let it trickle until JerryNOLA is fully seeded, then i'll turn it up some.

Just for the record, the Dead also played Rockin Pneumonia a couple times in the early 70s.
robbiem 2010-08-19 20:41:33

there is a fine version of Rockin Pneumonia on Steppin' Out with the Grateful Dead: England '72 - Lyceum Theatre (May 23 or 24?)

thanks for another excellent Jerry compilation, a Skiddly Bop Production is always a feast for the ears

Coooh!

If you listen to the Louis Armstrong version of "What A Wonderful World" closely you can hear the voice of Ornette Coleman in the chorus.

Actually, you can't really hear it, but supposedly he is in the chorus on the 1969 recording nonetheless.

This looks really cool. What a labor of love. Thanks for all the work.

I did not know Allen Toussaint wrote Get Out of My Life Woman 'til now. Thought it was an "old blues standard." I first heard it by Butterfield Blues Band.

Speaking of old standards, I am no expert but I believe that Stagger Lee is a standard from way back before Jerry ever did it. I always enjoyed Professor Longhair's version, but I think many many have covered it. Are we talking about the same song?
