HA! I remember driving from Charleston in the afternoon to make it to this show just in time for the opening notes. Then, after the show, driving all the way back.

| i CAN'T believe I didn't skip out on my stupid job and catch this Greenvegas show along with the following Winston Salem show, which was the only one I saw this tour! I had to make a choice and LJVM was it, especially after the year before (97 Ginfest). I'm so glad I have time and actual money to see shows now that I'm older, college was breakin a brother back then! thanks for posting these southeast gems, a little pair of gems about to come up in October... |

| This show was amazing. It was definitely one of my favorites from 98, along with 8/3/98 deer creek. The Wolfman's jam is heavenly...lovely lovely. The energy during Slave and Fluffhead comes across well on this source. I remember the whole place going ape shit. This show, along with 11/15 MTSU and 11/19 LJVM were some of the best of the Fall, yet were overshadowed by the two nights at hampton. I believe the Hampton shows were both fun, with extremely LONG first sets, yet the few shows preceding it, in my opinion were far better musically. Download this show along with the other AKG414 source for 11/15/98. You wont be sorry. Thank You to the person who posts both of these shows. I can't begin to explain the amount of joy these shows brought me when I was there. To find them here again after I lost my master copies made my day. THANK YOU... |
