"Eyes of the World" has a 45-second splice from a cassette sbd.
Fix of shnid 243
This source contains the following fix - I smoothed out the
splice in Eyes by crossfading it in Cool Edit Pro. The
original splice had a one note repeat at the beginning
(~2:39)and a ~2.5 sec repeat at the end (~3:18), very jarring.
Because there was only a small overlap in the beginning the
crossfade is still noticeable, but not nearly as jarring as
hearing the repeats. Because there was more overlap at the
end of the splice I was able to make the transition much more
transparent there.
