| Description | This is a flac encoded, combined & tagged version of shnids: 249 + 83819 + 12519
Grateful Dead
10/9/76

Source 2:
Set 1 d1t02-d1t05
from shind=83819 which is a fix of shnid=10179
Shnid=10179 had two main flaws. First, the left channel was inverted, putting
the whole show out of phase. Second, it's about 3% fast when compared with the
circulating SBD and generated tones in Cool Edit. I reinverted the left channel
and time/pitch stretched each track to 102.998% in Cool Edit Pro. Resulting
SBEs were fixed using shntool.
Other than that, this is an excellent sounding AUD, well worthy of the download.
Many thanks to the original taper, Dave Minor for providing the DAT, and Marc
Pujol and Matt Vernon for their work on getting this source out to the hoi paloi.
Also to Archive.org, from where I got this source. Amen. ;-)

Combination notes:
Shind=249 is a partial set 1 sbd
Shind=12519 is a set 2 sbd
shnid=83819 is a complete audience
This combination used all of both sbd sources with the remaining missing tracks
pulled from the audience source to create a complete show. Tracks from shid=249
were renumbered to create a 2 disc set.
Flac encoding notes: shnid=249 & 12519
All processing with Trader's Little Helper
Shn - st5 generated
Shn > Flac ( level 8 )
Flac - st5 generated and matched to Shn st5
Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac
files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be
stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must
transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use st5 to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.

| Thank you Mister Minor. Does anyone have the 2 sets from The Who from that weekend. Friends of ours had infants at the show in small baskets on the grass that almost got trampled when Who fans rushed the stage. |

| Um I'm glad the kids are OK, but um bad choice of placing infants on the lawn at a Who/Grateful Dead Concert...or any Stadium concert even in Cali. Sorry I felt I had to point out the obvious. The way you said it, made it sound like the Who fans made a bad choice that day. Just had to call it. |
