| come on 77, cant wait till 10-29-77 come's along. there is a story w/ that show. supposedly they got booked for the show 13 day's before,and were'nt sure if they were gonna get paid or not, so they open w/ might as well LOL true story far as i know. |

| The last five minutes of TOO are some exquisitely beautiful playing by Jerry (and possibly him only, IIRC). A few other times in '77 TOO ended like this one. |

ESTIMATED PROPHET in its infancy. "Estimated" is one GD song that has a major evolution, especially in the way Bob Weir sang it. If you listen to them over the years you will know what I'm talking about.
'77 being its infancy, it ripened and matured during '78-81.
By late 81 it started getting a bit stale.
And by 87-90 it really became stale. Fun but stale. |
