My first show..What an Introduction to what would be many a magic night and a turning point in my life. As I stood on that arena floor, somewhat confused, not knowing what to expect,amongst the most bizzare group of people I had ever seen. The Acid was kickin in big time and there was no turning back. Suddenly....Lights out followed by a series of Screams,hoots,and cheers in a swirl of anticipation. Instead of a balls out rocker, what we got was a single purple spotlight over Jerry and a sweet Sugaree which eased my worried mind and gently launched me on the Bus . Oh what a night and by the middle of the show I was a Dancing fool,Throwing myself around the Arena with extreme joy. In a life filled with Tension,dissapointment and low self esteem,I found Friendship,Hope and Pure Joy. I always wanted to thank Jerry and the Band for changing my life. 30 Years later,I still get chills listening to Great Music such as what was Played on that Night.
