* The first two minutes of this song are cut because I got to the show late. This is strange because the venue is less than two miles from my house and I am never late. I was at home baking chocolate chip cookies with my pregnant wife and lost track of time. So when track one fades in think about freshly baked cookies and don't think of it as a loss, I don't.

Thanks for the UP!!! Congrats on the addition...did the little one go to/hear the show?
one small correction...Charlie is playing a 7 string these days. He made the switch between 2005 & 2006. If you read the liner notes from "Copperopolis" and then from "Mistico" you can verify the change also the Live downloads from his website from the Yosi's show in 2005 to the Yoshi's show in 2006...his gear lists the change.
I am not sure if it is any part of the reason, however, he dropped the lower G-string when his playing shifted to a slightly more agressive approach for the Mistico CD and since.
This tour has had some nice stuff!!

well, to each his own. imo, these days, he sounds like he totally needs a break from gigging. soooooooo not happening to my ears…both composition and playing.
and don’t feel much chemistry between him and his bandmates any more. makes me feel like listening karaoke songs. kinda scared he might add a singer. (i hated and hate and will hate it when he has singers.) he should just drive a cab until he gets his mojo back. (assuming there will be a few venues left.) and sell his old live gig recordings instead of some half-cooked shitty records. there, i said it. will see him soon again, tho. this run should give him enough rehearse time with his bandmates at least. (just way too much downtime these days…i guess.) sorry for the rant. off to take a chill pill.
