Transferred by Nick C using Sony D7>Edirol R-44 via coax digital
Processed using Soundforge 10b, resample, to 16bit 44.1K and split tracks

When we all get to heaven… well, when some of us do… there will be shows like this every night. I can't recall
a guest lineup more stellar than this. Bonnie's vocals are gorgeous, Jackson fine on Willin' but a little
harder to hear, and Carlos wields the only electric guitar in an otherwise all acoustic setup for a fascinating
Dixie Chicken. The difference between heaven and earth is that here on earth, we have to settle for this
recording. It's not bad at all – a little distant, but I think superior to the source up at archive.org.
Well worth it not only for the guests, but for rarities like an acoustic Texas Twister. Guitars are easy to
hear throughout, unlike some full band acoustic mixes. What a great vibe! |
