-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug |

***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.
db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

Again, grab this if you don't have it -- SWEET SWEET acoustic sounds!
This is Ross' mastered copy ... judge for yourself which you prefer! |

thanks, I never knew rostta (ross carlson) mastered this one. I always preferred his mastering jobs to the originals.
I was at this 3 show run, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kalamazoo and I had a blast! |

| All I had was Ross' remaster for quite a while, but I think I actually prefer the straight up DPA myself ... something a little cleaner in the sound. This mastering sounds a little too contrived at times for my tastes, but it still worth a listen ... |

thanks for your thoughts, duggy.. i'll compare them at some point and post my thoughts here.
this could have been one of his first remastering attempts and maybe he wasn't happy enough with it to share it with me. Most of the rossta remasters I had were received directly from him in snail mail trades... |

| Oh, I've enjoyed most, if not all, of Ross' remasters as well. And there's nothing horribly wrong with this one, but just that the original source sounds a little more crisp to my ears ... |
