I know more about music than what you have ANY idea, friend. I am not at all unfamiliar with Little Feat...I just don't like them, and their particular brand of Classic Rock, for it is thus. I get bored easily, I guess - if you don't, God bless ya."

The soundboard for this show is on piratebay.org the rest of the tour is also up. Way better than a shitty audience recording"
JEBUS CRIPES!

Taylor thanx for your first and speed uploads of the entire Halloween run!
out here on the west coast they were all available on the "night" of each show! amazing
You are awesome!
I might say this may be best Halloween costume Phish has done to date!
The Time Loves a Hero has better harmonies and sounds better then Little Feat ever did it!
what an awesome night!

So tired of all the negative comments around the boards about the Little Feat choice - Dig it or STFU and GTFO!
For those in the know, Phish really did an amazing job with this year's costume. Trey nailed the vast majority of George and Paul's parts as well as their tones - all w/o actually using a slide. There were times that Trey sounded EXACTLY like Barrere on WFC, it was uncanny.
Page was beyond amazing! Solid in-the-pocket swamp-boogie rhythms - plus percussion and horns! Come ON!?!
It was a tremendous effort by everyone. Thank you Phish!
Taylor - Awesome Pull , as usual - Thank you!
“Some kind of man, he can’t do anything wrong
If I see him I’ll tell him you’re waiting
Cause I’m devoted for sure, but my days are a blur
Well your nights turn into my mornings
I did my time in your rodeo,
Fool that I am I’d do it all over again.” |

Hey man, it is what it is! You can't expect everyone to crown this night a great nite! It wasn't! But it was fun!

I agree!

Be for real! I was on the floor for this show DFC! It wasn't even close! |

I've loved Waiting for Columbus for years and was really excited to see this is what they chose to play on Halloween. Such a great album and one that I would imagine is pretty difficult to pull off. Little Feat were the loosest, tightest band you'll ever hear. The boys did an outstanding job.
I can't thank you enough for making the effort that goes into hauling gear in/out, babysitting that gear all night, then processing files, splitting tracks, naming files, etc. It is truly appreciated.

Ok, I guess I'm in the GTFO crowd. Nice recording Taylor -- I think it's SBD quality. Way to go. It's nice to see we've progressed beyond the 11th generation hiss and compressed sound of the old cassette tapes in the 90's (I wasn't in on the whole DAT B&P thing :( Well done!!! Best AUD I've ever heard.
Phish on the other hand.... (where did 97 funk go? How about Destiny '03?!?!?!? 40 minute tweezer? .... no? just me?
Sincerely,
john |
