-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.

Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.

Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.

And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw

These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess

Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)

I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:
http://week4paug.net/index.php/topic=1573.0

enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug

***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.

db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

This was requested by somebody on one of Todd's (newplanet7) recent torrents.

Great show ... love the acoustic 1st set vs. electric 2nd set idea!

One of the best and more ambitious Untitled Blues I've heard opens the show, and then the rest of the set simply cooks from there ...

Set II w/Logic has an excellent vibe and flow -- I miss Church of Logic! I noted the little Improv out of Pakalolo, even though it's rather short, because it is super cool!
duggy 2010-11-17 13:32:12
Oh, there were also requests for 11/23/2001 & 7/17/2003.

11/23/2001 will be coming soon ...

7/17/2003 doesn't *really* circulate -- a few folks have it -- but hopefully I'll change that soon as I should be getting a copy which I'll then share on here.

still looking for someone to competently transfer my MMW 8/16/96 II Pitt, PA sbd/1 - not listed in the db.

I can vouch for master dat > clone dat > my XL II-s

Anyone?

Thank you Duggy!
locusH.264 2010-11-17 19:48:21

This is one of my favs from 1999 -- can't put my finger on it, but something clicking btw MMW and Logic made this solid show a standout...!

Still looking for 11.19.1999 -- my first show... Anyone???

shack on!

Any chance someone could jump on to 4/1/99 to seed? Somehow I missed that one the first time around. Thanks!
