If you downloaded the previous version of this source all you need to do is delete the info file and rename the folder. Everything else will be replaced.

Dumb question... but for these 'older shows' originally coming off of cassette masters, how can 24 bit actually improve anything over 16 bit?

I would have thought the bit-rate of the originals limited the subsequent remasters...

The pitch of the encores.

24 bit doesn't actually "improve" anything. On a good quality analog recording 24 bits can produce a more accurate representation of what was on the source. How much better a 24 bit recording sounds is linked to how good the analog master sounds.

If you search 24 bit audio on Google, you will get some detailed information.
