| Yes, I apparently don't know my site abbreviations. Thanks for the original seed (and the music), musigny23. Good stuff. |

The ffp's don't match on d2t05 because of a naming issue. Once that track name is repaired in the ffp... this tests out perfectly. No problems other than the ffp trackname error for d2t05.
Thanks for sharing. It's like Xmas in Dcember :P |

| No worries - I sent an updated ffp to Joe J over at the db in an effort get this source loaded correctly in the database. His auto-reply says he is gonna be away until later this month. If anyone has suggestions about how to proceed, please help out (PM me if I can help) Also, would appreciate instructions on how to build that time machine to take us all back to 1982 so we can meet in Santa Cruz for one more JGB show! |

musigny23 thanks for this!
do I understand the lineage correctly? Is this
Nak Dragon > VXPocket > CD > DAE via Toast?
any reason you aren't just using the vxpocket to convert to a big wav file?
I noticed over on the other torrent you did a Nak dragon > DAT > CD > DAE via toast as well.
These sound phenomenal, and might be even a touch better without the DAE steps. |

What isn't included here with this upload are the comments that were with my upload at Dime which would answer your question I think.
"I recently posted two JGB torrents to upload my versions of my master recordings that at the etree.org source list(shnid=17014) are incorrectly attributed as to the taper and the lineage. I recorded this show from the left front balcony table and transferred my cassette masters to CD circa '98-'99. Clones I traded back then got around a bit and their true lineage info must have been lost down the line. This is from my original discs. This is the third and final one of these correction uploads. At this show I shared the table with tapers I met that night and decided to patch out of them to check out the Sennheisers they had brought. "
So, the reason this came from CD lineage is that the transfer and mastering was done way back when I first began mastering CDs. At that time there was no bittorrent sharing or lossless flac archiving. The original aiff files were deleted
since the CDs were considered the "archive" at the time. Also it does not appear that the masters made by the other guys have been transfered/circulated AFAIK. |
