-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.

Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.

Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.

And thanks to the other 5 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom, Todd & Jeff....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw

These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess

Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)

I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

enjoy the grooves,
Louie, Mike, Tom, Todd, Jeff & dug

***FOR ALL YOUR SETLIST NEEDS***
MMW Performance History @ http://mmwhistory.com - this is a fantastic resource that allows you to look at info on gigs by MMW and related side projects and guest appearances; big thanks to Tom for creating this page.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We are actively updating all setlists as we seed, and also others outside the particular order of the project.

db.etree is also being updated in tandem with the updates to Tom's pages -- both the source and show pages.

And so, I'm gonna try a little different seeding pattern: I'll seed a gig from each year between 2001-2007 a couple at a time ... to get the ball rolling I'm firing up a few seeds, but then I'll only do a couple at the same time because I don't have that great of an upload bandwidth -- PLEASE BE PATIENT with the uploading!

So, I just put up seeds for 2001-2003.

Tomorrow or Boxing Day I'll put up seeds for 2004-2007.

This will give us all a mix of different tastes of MMW ... for instance, the three shows I just put up are drastically different ...

This 1/20/2001 show sounds FANTASTIC! And the music carries very much out of the Dec 2000 vibe ... but things are even a little tighter it seems ... although the playing in this set is rather loose at the same time: note the unfinished versions of 3rd Stone & We Are Rolling, and the oddly unfinished The Dropper, but then that wacky reprise! Some other choice tunes that just sound great in this recording -- Hermeto's Daydream for instance ...

It seems this fileset is the entire show, but we don't know for sure so I've still noted it as a PARTIAL SET ... just in case ... and I'm not going to bother seeding the other radio broadcast sources since, as I said, this one offers the most and what appears to be the entire set ...
